Story
Thank you for coming here. If you are wanting a serious explanation, here it is:
In this increasingly insane world there are relatively few sources of sanity, and these shine increasingly as beacons to me. The Humanists are one such beacon and deserve support and publicity in their fight for reason.
If you're not looking for a serious explanation, here is something else:
I've hired the upstairs of the St Aldates Tavern on the 3rd Nov and intend to play music, drink beer and jump around. If you want to donate some money to the Humanists UK then you can suggest a few tunes to be played (include your top five in your donation message and I'll try and get some, if not all, of them in the play list). I reckon a tenner would be a reasonable price for a club entry these days, so hopefully this is something you can afford as a suggestion? If you're not interested in supporting the Humanists (yes, I know they're a bit PC and right-on - and you may struggle with their atheistic-leaning tendencies), that's fine - no need to donate and you're welcome to participate in the dad (and mum and non-parent) dancing! And invite anyone else you think may be interested - the more the merrier!
Finally, some legalise, to finish with (always leave the best till last!):
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
