Story

We are the Hospitality Team for Daisy Lodge, Cancer Fund for Children's therapeutic centre, based in Newcastle, Co Down.  We wanted to do something to help support the many families we have greeted to Daisy Lodge over the years, as well as those who are just being referred to Cancer Fund for Children.

With 90% of Cancer Fund for Children's income reliant on fundraising, it is a tough time for the charity to continue to deliver services.  So, we have set ourselves the challenge of raising £2600 over the next 26 days to help support families dealing with a child, or parent, with cancer in these very difficult times.

Over the next 26 days we will complete the following challenges, and keep you up-to-date with our progress on the 'Mourne Fundraising Group for Cancer Fund for Children' Facebook page:

Joan is going to cycle 2.6 miles a day

Martell is walking 2.6 miles a day

Mary McEvoy is doing 260 skips a day

Maureen will complete 26 burpees a day

Kirsty is doing 26 lunges a day

Mary Gibney is doing 26 minutes of Pilates a day

Marian is going to run up and down her stairs 26 times a day

Anita is going to hop on each foot 26 times a day

Andrew is going to do 2 agility courses with his dog each day

Bronach is going to post positive affirmation, which we will post each morning

Damien is going to jog 2.6 miles a day

Roisin is going to bake 26 tarts and deliver to her neighbours

Diane is going to stop eating bread for the next 26 days

All donations will be very gratefully received, whether it's £2.60 or £26!  Please share with your family & friends.  Thank you for your support.
