2014 was meant to be the year of half-marathons. But this October, along with a group of fellow students from the university of York, I will be taking part in the Budapest Marathon to raise money for the NSPCC.

This will be my first marathon and I'm both excited and terrified at the prospect. The NSPCC is an incredible charity and I'm proud to be running this monumental distance for them.
