Like a lot of boys my age, reading was never my favourite hobby and I would always choose sport over a good book any day.

However, in year 5 my school introduced me to the Alex Rider series written by Anthony Horowitz OBE and I was spellbound. The series followed the adventures of a teenage spy and I have read every Alex Rider book ever released.

While in lockdown I wanted to do something different and decided to write my own novel. 

Inspired by Alex Rider I present ‘AX-50’ a story spanning over 10,000 words which has taken me 7 weeks to write.

The brilliant Anthony Horowitz OBE himself has read the story and provided some kind words which are included in the book.

While I have been able to stay at home safe with my family, our wonderful frontline NHS have been tackling this horrible virus and putting themselves at risk. I want to say THANK YOU and to raise money to support the NHS at this time.
