Story

On May 29th, we all lost our dear friend Daniel Fridholm. As painful as the last few weeks have been, we've seen many people all around talking about the impact Dan had on their lives. One thing that has become abundantly clear is how loved he was by so many.

Dan had an incredibly special way with people. He was kind. He was engaged in what you had to say. He had interests and passions in so many things, that meant he could always find common ground with people no matter who they were. He was loving and loyal to his friends and family. And he was forever, remarkably supportive of those around him – always determined to help them out however he could. Something that I and many others around me have felt many, many times throughout the years.

I find it hard at this time to really focus on just one memory, or one story. His departure from this earth feels painfully cruel, and his time here unfairly short. But every moment he did spend really felt like it meant something to so many people.

I know there are a few of us who want to raise money and do something in some way. A handful of people are planning sponsored runs, I'll be putting together an online, all-day musical party (4th July watch this space), and I am sure there will be much more. If you are planning anything, then do let me know so we can put it all together.

Daniel was a huge supporter of Mind, and having spoken to the family, have agreed that we should specifically raise for the Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, and South Lincolnshire branch.

Thanks

x
