Watford Half Marathon 2009 · 1 February 2009 ·

Supporting over 1,400 family members of seriously ill children, Camp Simcha is more than just a charity, we are here 24/7 to be a family of support for families of children with over 50 different medical conditions.

Story

On the 28th December 2008 my step brother Richard Ableson (aged 25) tragically passed away after bravely battling with leukaemia.

I have decided to run the Watford Half Marathon on Febuary 1st 2009 in his memory.

Richard made his dream move to live in New York in 2007 to embrace his Judaism and there he met Allison who was later to become his wife in May 2008. Richard was diagnosed in August 2008.

Richard will be sadly missed by wife Allison, parents Oriol and Mark, brother Jonathan, step father Ivan and all other family and friends.

I will be running for Camp Simcha who are associated with Chai Lifeline who supported Richard greatly with his illness in  the USA.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Camp Simcha gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Many Thanks.
