Story
Hey :) thanks for visiting my JustGiving Page.
I'm a 16 year old surfer from Dorset (Yes, Dorset does get waves!) and I'm hoping to raise money for Surfers Against Sewage.
The water I surf in is far from clean. In fact, I regularly surf alongside raw sewage and rubbish. Not nice. Surfers Against Sewage are a charity orginaistaion aiming to clean up Britain's oceans, so that whether you're a dedicated year-round surfer, or a summertime beach-goer, people can enjoy the water without the risk of becoming ill from pollution. SAS has also launched many campaigns to reduce marine litter and toxic waste flowing into the sea, in order to protect our wildlife. They're doing a fantastic job, so have a nose at their website http://www.sas.org.uk/
In order to raise the money, I'm doing a sponsored paddle, on a surfboard, from Bournemouth to Boscombe Pier, which is about 1.4 miles. I'm aiming to do this in Late November, so it's going to be pretty chilly! It's a big challenge, but I'm determined to do it to support SAS, so please support me, and give as little or as much as you like. Every little helps!
So please, dig deep and donate now. Let's protect our waves and KEEP THE COAST CLEAN! Thankyou x
