My challange:

Recently, my running shoes finally gave out. So started running without them. All of a sudden, I had hatched my fundraising plan. I decided to run a race barefooted. Running in a thong really came as a ill-advised afterthought, but hey, it was a chance to live out my dreams.

My training starts now. Soon,there will be a VERY pale, semi-naked man running around formby woods. Watch this space!

I am certain I will come to regret this.

During my training, I will be willing to "draw" using run-tracking app, Strava. If there is something you would like me to spell out in a run, simply ask. I charge a £2 donation per letter if you would like me to write your name (or something equally as adorable). I will post a photo of your drawing with your name on it. Anything goes, but KEEP IT CLEAN. 

Why?

I am raising money for VSO ICS because of the incredible development work they do in poor communities all over the world. They enable thousands of young people to go and work overseas, together with locals, to help improve the lives of the people within that community. I am so lucky to have been given an opportunity to go overseas to Nigeria to work on an education and secure livlihoods project myself with VSO.
