Having cycled from London to Paris with Team Painkillers in 2012, this year we're aiming for Brussels. I will be raising money for SAFE@LAST because of the vital work they do supporting young people at risk of running away.

I have been a foster carer for many years, and have seen at first-hand the powerful changes in young peoples' lives that can be brought about through supporting and paying attention to them. SAFE@LAST works with some of our most vulnerable young people, including those who have been abused at home and who place themselves at risk by running away. The support and facilities they offer can help these young people to increase their confidence and make improvements to their lives, which in turn benefits the whole of society.
