Daarul Huda Masjid Extension Project

Darul Huda Masjid Extension Project · 30 May 2018
Daarul Huda Mosque under the umbrella of Bedford Islamic Education Trust was established in August 2015 and is the only Islamic institute (Madrassah) in Bedford which provides specialised Islamic education facilities to cater for the growing needs of the community. Over the last couple of years, the local demand had grown to such an extent that unfortunately there wasn't enough space to accommodate all students and children had to be placed on the waiting list. There was a dire need for an extension of the existing setup.
Alhumdulilah extension work has now been completed, with an additional floor laid in the main hall and the Masjid can now accommodate up to 250 people which is adequate to support the needs of the community. The total cost of the extension has come up to £55,000, with £20,000 of the cost yet to be paid.
In this blessed month of Ramadan we hope to pay off this remaining amount and hence are reaching out for your support. This will undoubtedly be an eternal investment (Sadqa Jariah) in a month in which rewards are guaranteed to be multiplied many-fold. The prophet (SAW) has mentioned '“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise.” (Sahih Muslim)
