We train and provide assistance dogs to transform the lives of disabled adults

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My brother (the shorter, craggy younger one) and I are taking part in this year's Worthing Birdman event (http://www.worthingbirdman.co.uk/). When you see our magnificent flying machine, you will quickly determine we are in the 'fun' class rather than the distance prize money class. This will also be confirmed when you see the distance we get from the pier edge being very much determined by our ability to synchronise our running and jumping technique.

We are doing this to raise awareness and importantly money for the Canine Partners Charity (http://www.caninepartners.org.uk), which trains dogs to assist people with disabilities to maintain independent living. This is a charity close to our hearts as our Mum has the amazing assistance dog Herbie, who allows her to live the full and giving life she does. For those of you who have met our Mum and Herbie, you know what a wonderful job he does and the special bond they have.

The money we raise will go towards the training of more dogs to become assistance dogs for people with a range of disabilities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Your donation is greatly appreciated and it would be great for you to come down and watch us crash dive into the sea on Sunday 11th August.
