Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.
We're a group of 15-18 year olds who are all passionate about helping the developments for those in poverty around the world, therefore we have decided to help this cause by taking part in the Slum Survivor challenge. This means that we will be building and sleeping in slums that we have created from materials found in skips and we'll be surviving on two meals of rice and lentils each day for 3 days and two nights. This will be taking place on our school field on 19-21 october 2009.
The Slum Survivor initiative is attached to the charity Soul Action who work with slums in Zimbabwe and South Africa. We got the inspiration to do this when a few of us went to Soul Survivor Festival in the summer.
We really hope that you'll be able to sponsor us generously because it's all for a fantastic cause!
