Story

In November 2021 I completed an 100 km trek across the Wadi Rum Desert, in Jordan in memory of my beloved wife Moragh who sadly passed away in December 2019 after a long fight with cancer.

I undertook undertaking this challenge to raise vital funds for Maggie's Aberdeen as I believe passionately in them and the help they provide. Both my wife and I benefited from their support throughout a very challenging time and it was invaluable. Due to the pandemic and treatments being delayed Maggie's is needed more than ever before.

Maggie's provides free practical, emotional and psychological support to anyone affected by cancer, not just the individuals that are impacted but the family and friends as well.

Many thanks to those of you who supported me in my mission to raise vital funds to help the local people of Aberdeen and the shire that are impacted by a cancer diagnosis.

I funded the trip myself, so 100% of the money raised goes directly to Maggie's.

Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.
