10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

Updated on Jan 14th 2013 at 10:47 PM from the JustGiving API

The BIG BAD BIKE RIDE started in 1991 when Graham Kennedy along with 110 volunteers found their old bikes and cycled from York to Filey.

22 years later, the BBBR is still going strong and this year I will be joining over 100 other riders as we launch our 60 mile assault on the Welsh hills.

Please sponsor me.

Every penny I raise will be donated to ATAXIA. All funds will be directed into research to try to find a cure for this genetic disorder.

There is a choice... you can always join me on the hills!
