Following completion of the Paris marathon earlier this year, Andrew and I have decided to put ourselves to the test yet again by participating in the Amsterdam marathon on the 18th October 2009.

The race starts on finishes in the Olympic Stadium, last years winner was Kenyan Paul Kirui who clocked an impressive 2hrs 7min. 

Andrew will be targeting 3 hrs 45mins, David having only been in training for 4 weeks will be aiming to finish! and on the same day!!

We would like to use our next race as an opportunity to help raise funds for wateraid, a well supported charity throughout Wessex Water.

We both appreciate the difficult current economic climate, please give whatever you can in support of our nominated charity.
