Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please contribute a little and sponsor me online.
Ron Mackinnon came up with the mad idea of some inexperienced middle aged cyclists doing a North to South cycle trip through France, a distance of approximately 850 miles or so. This didn't seem like a good idea until he pointed out that we could raise money for The Chidren's Hospice Association Scotland. I think he got the sort of idea from Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.

I can tell you that 6 such mad individuals have signed up so there will be some good company on the way.
We leave on 24th June and will cycle from Dunkirk, down the Eastern side of France via places like Dijon and Macon, to Capestang (between Montpellier and Perpingnan). This will involve cycling around 70 miles a day (with 3 rest days).
For up to the minute news of the trip and preparations why not visit our blog site at; http://francecycle2008.blogspot.com
