Wheelwrights supporting WheelPower - David

Liverymen of the Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights and their friends are supporting WheelPower by cycling the Tour de Vale ride on 11 June. Some are even cycling to Stoke Mandeville and back to London!

Story

I have decided to cycle 75km in the 'Tour de Vale' as part of the Wheelwrights' Team to raise funds in support of WheelPower that helps improve the lives of people of all ages through wheelchair sport.  It is a bit scary because at the age of 73 this is the furthest I have ever cycled. Wish me luck.  Your support will help disabled people to lead healthier lives and allow them access to participating in a wide range of sports. Thank you for contributing to our fund raising as it means a lot and will spur me on when training each day.
