It is sad that older people sometimes get forgotten. There are people who just need a chat or smile from someone else just to recognise they still exist in this world.

My Uncle Frankie died on 31 January 2017 - he was loved very much but despite us living in the same house, I couldn't be with him all the time and sometimes he felt lonely, but I hope not as lonely as some people who sometimes don't see others for days on end.

This is why I am supporting Age UK - to help stop loneliness.
