On 1 November 2009 I am taking part in the ING New York City Marathon 2009. 

Together with 40,000 other runners, I will be making my way through the 5 Boroughs of New York City in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with over 45,500 women and almost 300 men diagnosed each year.  Breast cancer is moving towards becomeing a chronic but controllable condition with ealier diagnosis and some very successful new treatments.

I am trying to raise £3,500 for the Breast Cancer Campaign.
