So last year on this fundraising page, we raised £4,451 walking 32 miles across all 3 Christie Radiotherapy Centres to raise money for The Christie - A charity that is very close to my heart and provided treatment for my wife and other family members

This year I wanted to do even more. I signed up for the Manchester 10k initially (now postponed to September) but with this being postponed several times due to Covid, this is when I initially came up with the idea of The Christie Loop last year

This year, with a 4th Christie Radiotherapy Centre under construction in Macclesfield, myself and my best friend Neville will be doing an Even Longer Christie Loop in memory of my wife Gill who sadly passed away last year 💙 and walking a loop of all 4 Radiotherapy centres. Starting at Withington, followed by Macclesfield, Oldham, Salford then finishing off back at Withington

If my estimations are correct (Google Maps 😂) this will be approximately 56 miles and 19 hours of walking!
