Bupa Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This will be my third Great North Run in a row. Sadly it was while I was still up in the North East after last year's run that my Grandad passed away after battling to recover from a series of major strokes 2 years previous. Therefore it seems totally appropriate that I run again this year for The Stroke Association in Grandad's memory.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now and thank you for stopping by.
