After a spell of illness my Mum was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago. I guess she was 'lucky' as it was operable and after a full hysterectomy she's had the thumbs up at all her check ups since. Only 12 more months to go then we can say 'she's beaten it!'

Cancer has affected so many people so very dear to me and my family, and not all have been as lucky as my Mum. Some keep fighting and some have lost, but we won't be beaten!
