Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
The Buwan Kothi International Trust was established by my husband Gilly Mundy, myself, Gilly's family and our friends after travelling to Buwan Kothi, a small and isolated farming community in Haryana, where we married in December 2005.
The aim of the charity was always to raise funds to build a primary school in Buwan Kothi, but this has been given an even greater significance by Gilly's sudden death in March 2007, aged only 36.
The Trust now aims to name the school
'The Gilly Singh Mundy School and Resource Centre' and to raise £50,000 to build and equip it by the summer of 2008.
I am therefore taking part in the
Buwan Kothi Challenge, a 58 mile cycle ride from Victoria Park in Bethnal Green to Priory Park in Southend-on-Sea, to help raise money for the Trust.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Buwan Kothi International Trust will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.
