We run accessible sea going adventures to improve well being and confidence

Story

I am turning 50 in June this year and as part of my celebrations
I’m taking on the challenge of doing a charity abseil down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. It’s on Sunday 9th June to raise money for local Charity Wetwheels Hamble & Solent.

Wetwheels is a wonderful charity that gives the opportunity for disabled people to have the experience of being out on the water, via their specially modified, fully accessible powerboats.

As someone who loves the freedom of being out on the sea and who isn’t content with watching from the shore, I want to be able to help more people have the opportunity to be able to do the same.

This is why for my 50th birthday, instead of birthday gifts, I am asking family and friends to instead consider making a donation to Wetwheels.

Thank you!

Debbie

PS: If you’re free on 9th  and would like to give me a wave or even just “point and laugh” then I’d love to see you!

At Wetwheels we ensure everyone can access the water with a safe, barrier-free, enriching experience. Every pound raised is vital to ensure we can welcome as many disabled people onboard as possible, with their families, friends and carers, providing life-changing experiences.
