We provide children's hospice care to children and families across Sussex

Story

We’ve stepped out from behind our desks for our biggest task yet for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice. The Chestnut Sussex 100 – a tough hilly 100km bike ride across the lumpy bit of Sussex.

Team Rims and Skids (yes that’s what we’ve voluntarily called ourselves) have done a bit (very, very little bit) of training – there are some pics in the gallery to show you how we’ve been getting on.

But as you’ll see, what we really need is intense motivation to pull us through. And you can help. If you make a donation, not only will you get a warm sense of satisfaction that you've helped a good cause, but you'll also get a little chuckle at the thought of us on bikes slogging our way up another hill...

About the charity

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.
