Gary was a true inspiration to many. He loved competition and pursuing his dream in the triathlon. He  competed at national level in bike races and duathlon. He represented GB at world championship level for his age group four times. He ran the London marathon for Cancer Research UK, raising money in memory of his dad.

Gary was diagnosed with Sarcoma (a rare form of cancer) 16 months ago. He made the most of every minute of his time even with illness and he never gave up the fight. He was given excellent treatment at the London Sarcoma Centre at UCLH which included chemotherapy, radiotherapy and being part of a clinical trial. He remained strong and positive throughout.

Gary lives on through his 3 beautiful boys Jacob, Mathew and Nathan.

I have set up this page to remember Gary and to raise awareness of this rare illness. The ongoing research is vital in making breakthroughs in specialist treatment and clinical trials to help other people with sarcoma.   "UCLH charity have assured us that every penny we raise will be put into the Sarcoma Development Fund."

We miss him very much.
