We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

The inevitable time has come. Dom and Danny have finally been incarcerated for their crimes against society. But don't worry, we have a plan. We're going to escape from the concrete fort knox that is UEA. On the 8th of March we will spend 48h trying to get as far away from UEA as possible by any means necessary, that is, of course, apart from by spending any money (we are students afterall). We will hitch-hike, stowaway, beg, borrow and cheat in order to make our way accross europe in search of amnesty.  Last year more than 20 teams entered this rat-race and raised thousands of pounds for Cancer Research. Some teams reached as far as Gibralter, Budapest and Berlin!  You will be able see live updates every three hours over the weekend to see how we are getting on.

Our target is to reach an island called Disappointment Island which is just off the south coast of New Zealand. Its just about the furthest place in the world away from Norwich. But if we are going to find political refuge there, we will need your help. The more money we raise, the more likely that Richard Branson himself will lend us one of his private Jets to make sure we get there safely.

We will be filming the whole thing for your viewing pleasure when we get back, so you'll be able to see all the wierd and random situations that we get ourselves into.

Please help us evade paying our debt to society and allow us pay it to Cancer Research instead. Its a much more worthy cause!
