There are people going hungry in our local community every day, and the issue has been hugely exacerbated by COVID-19. Donating even a small amount could help a family in dire need. Or dig deep and see them through the summer!
I'm hosting a DJ set live on twitch (twitch.tv, it's a free live streaming platform you can watch on your mobile device, laptop or smart tv) on Wednesday July 8th from 19:00-20:30 BST and will ask for donations in return - think of it as your admission ticket.
I taught myself how to do this the year before last, so I'm only an enthusiastic amateur - I may even embarrass myself! Either way it should be a fun 90 minutes!
We're calling it: Go big and stay home!
So let's turn the volume up, have a virtual house party, let our hair down and maybe even crack open a beer (or your favourite non alcoholic beverage) or two!
