I have decided to take part in this years London Duathlon to help raise money for a much needed CT scanner for Chelsea & Westminster Hospital which happens to be where I work. It's a fantastic hospital and I view this as my chance to give a little back!

For some strange reason I have decided to compete in the challenge distance which comprises a 9km run, followed by a 20km cycle and then another 5km to finish. I have never done anything like this before so no doubt I will require hospital treatment upon completion, but seeing as I work in one that should not be too much of a problem!
