As many among you will know, a year ago my mother died of acute myeloid leukemia. As a result I intend to complete a personal challenge every Summer to raise money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Research. 

This year I intend to walk the length of Wales, the 160 or so miles from Cardiff Bay to Colwyn Bay. I aim to complete it in one week, sleeping in a one man tent along the way. 

I intend to document my journey with a blog, updating you all with any noteworthy events, advice on places to visit and showing you my journey with photos of where I am. 

My intention is to raise over 1000 pounds for the charity and I thank you all for helping me to hopefully do so.
