On Christmas Eve 2013 my lovely mum was told she had breast cancer, rather than ruin our christmas and New year she decided to keep the dreadful news to herself.

In January she started her treatment of lumpectomy,removal of her lymph nodes and had gruelling radiotherapy.

But my mum is a survivor and has kicked cancers arse.
