PSDS provides a wide range of essential services and support for children and young people with Down syndrome and their families. Through our "see potential, celebrate success" philosophy we change perceptions about what a diagnosis of Down syndrome really means.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Justgiving Page

We would absolutely love it if on Wednesday 21st March (that’s this Wednesday) you’d wear multicoloured/lots of socks in honour of WORLD DOWNS SYNDROME DAY 2018.

A lot of people said they’d been too late to purchase the official pairs of socks from the DSA so we thought, it you haven’t managed to get yourselves a pair this year, why not just wear a pair of your own but make a donation to Oscars chosen charity - PSDS (Providing Support for children with Down Syndrome and their families)

Oscar has and continues to benefit greatly from all PSDS do for him. We know how fond you are of Oscar so thought, how brilliant it would be if we could raise a little bit for this fabulous charity in his name.

Even if it was just a pound or two. I know it would be hugely appreciated

Why are we wearing lots of brightly coloured socks? Because socks look like chromosomes and people who happen to have Downs Syndrome have an extra chromosome!
