Robert and I running the 2023 Royal Parks Half Marathon and raising money for the amazing Lady McAdden charity.

The Lady McAdden charity is based in Southend-on-Sea and support women of all ages with the early detection of breast cancer through advice, education and breast awareness.

Did you know that breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, with 1 in 7 developing breast cancer in their lifetime? Almost 50% of breast cancer is first detected by women themselves and yet 49% of women say they don’t check themselves on a regular basis.

The Lady McAdden charity provides self-referred breast awareness consultations to women who are 18 and over with specialist nurses.

By taking part in the Royal Parks half we are trying to fundraise for this brilliant charity so many more women in Southend can get the support they need.
