The Lymphoma Research Trust supports research into the treatment of lymphoma. It makes grants to researchers at the Lymphoma Trials Office based at University College London, and also to doctors at other universities and hospitals in the UK.

Story

WE DID IT! 115 miles, 10 hours in the saddle, 2000 metres of ascents, 2 punctures, lots of amazing views and 1 massive thunderstorm after leaving Dorking on Saturday morning, our weary-legged band of cyclists made it to Bournemouth Pier just about intact. Big thanks again to everyone who sponsored us!

On 17 & 18 September, we're cycling from Dorking in Surrey to Bournemouth in Dorset, a distance of about 100 miles, to raise money for the Lymphoma Research Trust.

Last year, someone close to us was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. While he's currently healthy and showing only a few symptoms, the variety of cancer he has will become more aggressive as time passes and will come back stronger after each round of chemotherapy. Ultimately, it will prove terminal.

The Lymphoma Research Trust carries out vital research into all types of lymphoma, and relies wholly on voluntary donations. We're doing this ride to raise money for the Trust in the hope that medical advances resulting from their research might make lymphoma more treatable and might help to extend the lives of people diagnosed with it.

Please donate and support us, as every penny will help to keep the work of the Trust going. Oh, and don't forget to pray for sunny (but not too hot), wind-free, rain-free days across the south of England on 17 & 18 September....

Thanks a lot,

Matt, Tracy, Andy & Matt
