We, as a team of family and friends, are uniting to raise money for the Jubilee Sailing Trust in memory of Mike Greenwood, who was Father, Grandpa and friend. Before he died, he asked us as his family to continue to support the Jubilee Sailing Trust, and so here we are, for the biggest challenge so far! 

The team so far is Anne Walton, Toby, Hannah, Daniel & Helen Finch, Jon Humphrey, Sally Worrall,  Ken and Matthew Houlberg, Mark Greenwood and Stretch. 

The Jubilee Sailing Trust owns and operates the Lord Nelson and Tenacious, the only two tall ships in the world designed and built to enable people of all physical abilities to sail side-by-side as equals. To help support the experiences these ships are able to provide we are going to be cycling from Nelson's Column in London, 140 miles north to Nelson's Column in Great Yarmouth in one (very long) day. For most of us it will be further than we've ever cycled before, and we have all been training hard. If you would be able to support this amazing charity we would be incredibly grateful, and your support will give the extra boost needed on the day when Great Yarmouth seems impossibly far away!

Mike helped to build Tenacious, and crewed on a voyage to the Canaries, where he saw how much people of all abilities benefitted from the experience. The more able bodied crew members work alongside the less able and through working together both are pushed beyond their expectations of themselves, resulting in a once in a lifetime experience that really does change lives.
