DS Achieve empowers the families of children & young people with Down Syndrome to enable them to fulfil their potential, whatever that may be. Potential may be centred on education, social inclusion, sporting achievement, personal happiness, good health & wellbeing, or other personal family goals.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I decided to take part in Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to raise some money for DS Achieve. This is a small charity led by a group of parents in Hertfordshire. Their support means a lot for myself and my precious little Misha. The money will go towards a Saturday social group for children and teens with Down’s syndrome.

If you would like to know a bit more about this hike - at 24.5 miles and 1,500m of ascent this is going to be a tough walking challenge. We start on the 21st of May and aim to finish in 12-14 hours. Last time I’ve tried that route with a couple of friends three years ago and managed only two peaks out of three, but this time I hope to make it.

Thank you for your support!
