The Terrins Family are sorry to share the news of Donal's death on Tuesday 20th December after a long battle with cancer.

He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was the dearly loved husband to Eileen, Father to Emma, Donal, Claire, Sarah, Pauline, Kevin and Granddad to fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

As you may know he spent a spell in St Catherine’s about six weeks before he passed away and it played a big part in making the last few months of his life as comfortable as they could be. The service and care he received whilst he was a resident bowled him over. St Catherine’s also continued to support us when he came home as the palliative care team supported both Dad and the family in his final few weeks. It is a fantastic resource for the people of Lancashire.

Donal requested family flowers only for his service however in lieu of flowers Dad would really appreciate any donation to St Catherine’s that you are able to make.
