Dear All,
Thank you for visiting our fundrasing page! On the 10th May 2009 we will both be running in the Great Daffodil Run at Kelmarsh Hall. Sarah will be running in the 15mile race and Jonathan in the 10km.
As you may know, we recently lost our Dad to cancer and this is why we have chosen to raise money for this charity. For us, it was not until we went through something that required the support of Marie Curie that we realised how important the job they were doing was. Dad's wonderful Marie Curie nurse Julie helped to make life easier for the whole family at a difficult time. She helped raise Dad's spirits by just being there, talking to him about his hobbies and watching tv throughout the night, and at the same time enabling Mum to have a well-deserved night's rest! Any charity that manages to provide a feeling of comfort, and helps to find enjoyment from life during such a hard time is surely a very worthwhile cause!
Thank you for you support!
Sarah and Jonathan
