Story

Durham University Psychology Society is proud to welcome you the Psychology Charity ball on March 3rd, 2022. This year, we are supporting Strong Minds, a charity that aims to treat depression in women and adolescents in sub-Saharan Africa.

We will have exclusive use throughout the night of Hardwick Hall Hotel. Surrounded by the stunning Hardwick Country Park, Hardwick Hall is steeped in charm and character providing the perfect setting for a luxurious evening. The ball will play host to a reception drink, live jazz band, three course meal, more live entertainment, food vendors, a photo booth, and a DJ.

As part of our psychology charity ball campaign, we are holding a raffle on the night with lots of exciting prizes. To be in with a chance of winning, donate here! You will receive 1 entry for every £2 donated.

StrongMinds treats depression in women and adolescents in sub-Saharan Africa. Their rigorously-tested group talk therapy model is delivered by trained lay community members, enabling them to rapidly reach tens of thousands of people each year. Since their founding in 2013, they have restored mental health to 100,000 women and adolescents. They are the only organization scaling a proven, cost-effective solution to the depression epidemic in Africa.

Thank you for helping us to support StrongMinds in their vital mission.
