Story
I've always wanted to run the London Marathon, but never really had a connection to any charity or organisation. I know they all do great work, I just never felt that touched to actually run 26.2 miles in the name of anyone specifically.
Last year my girlfriend Kirsty ran the marathon and she told me about all the good work that the Mary Anne Evans Hospice did for her nan, about how they had helped her through her illness and how for a charity so small they make a difference to the lifes of so many people and I couldn't think of a more deserving cause.
Please give what you can, no matter how big or small, its much appreciated.
Hopefully I'll finish the race many hours ahead of Kirsty's time last year and she can wipe that smug look off her chops! ;-)
Thank you for donating and also make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
