Cancer Fund for Children provides practical and emotional support to local children and their families impacted by cancer. Our Specialist Team provides support at home, in the community and on the hospital ward. We also offer free therapeutic short breaks at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle.

Story

In a bid to get fit, shed a couple of pounds and raise money for the NICFC Rachel, Phil, Jonny, Ruth and Anthea aka the Eastsiders, the fastest marathon relay in the East of the City , have come together to run 2007's Belfast City Marathon!

We would ask you to spare a thought for the blisters we will have to endure  both in training and running this event, by digging deep into your pockets and sponsoring us !

All money raised will go directly to the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children, a local Charity that provides practical, financial and emotional support to children and young people living with cancer and their families at a time when they most need it.

The goal of the NICFC is to continue to make a postive contribution to the lives of young people with cancer and their families through donations from supporters like you!  The Charity will continue to see improvements in its facilities and it will enchance their ability to provide vital support within the local community.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor the Eastsiders.  The NICFC will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

A big thanks for your support and time!
