Story

I and my dad, Andy will be Cycling 500KM accorss the Sinai Desert and clbiming to the peak of Mount Sinai on November 7th to November the 15th to raise money for the Evelina Childrens Hospital who cared for Ebuka, whilst he was in hospital. He was born with  hole in the heart and in October last year went in for another normal proccedure operation, saying to his mother Joy as he went in, see you later, and never came through.

Ebuka Chukwurah, a loved son, brother, family member, best friend, good friend to most, and a friend to all.

I remember the day i met Ebuka. Year 7 - the first day of secondary school. The sun was shinning, birds chirping  and every single student was shaking, crossing their legs, and sweating infront of the very people who would put them to sleep every day for the next 5 years, the teachers! The bell rang and everyone dispursed to their first classes, and i stood there bewildered as to where my first class was. Eventually everyone else had gone, except for one small boy with a confused look about him, who had the biggest smile spread across his beaming face, his name was Ebuka.

Many memories of Ebuka will stay with me forever, like the time his younger, bigger brother started the Anglo European School. Ebuka took on the role of the fat controller at chelmsford station, and directed all the nervous parents with their sons and daughters which platform to stand on and which train to get on. He could have been offered a job there

I think just about every person who met Ebuka remembered hm and went away with a smile on their face. He was so kind, loving, caring, generous, lively and happy all of the time, even when things got him down, just such an inspiration to people of all ages. He was always there for me in times of need, and words can't express his angelic nature.

They say the good die young, and this is very true in this case. God obviouisly needed him up in heaven, and i know he is watching down on all of us, protecting and thinking of those who knew him.

So thank you for your donations, I honestly can not express my gratitude, it really means alot, and I shall elt you all know how it went on my return from this amazing experience.

R.I.P Ebuka Chukwurah, 5th March 1993 - 25th October 2008.

I miss you mate, and you will be with me forever.
