Following on from the Calais - Nice cycle last year, we're continuing our march through Europe, we'll take up again at Nice and cycle down the West coast of Italy to Naples. It will be another 1,000 miles in 9 days.

I know times are tight, and politicians are spending all your hard earned money on plasma TV's and second homes, but rest assured that every penny of your donation to this event goes directly to the front line work that The King's Foundation do with underprivileged kids around the world, using sport to help them get on in life. The charity has its own acitivities which fund its running costs, and of course none of your donations will go towards the costs of the cycle, the cyclists cover all of those.

Please give whatever you can, whether it's a little or a lot. I know it's a tough climate to be giving money away in, so I will pay 20 pence on top of every £1 donated to support your generosity.
