The Double Brutal Ironman Wales · 21 September 2013
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am entering the Double Brutal Wales Ironman triathlon over the weekend of 21/22 September 2013 to raise funds for Dogs Trust and in memory of my dog who was such a great friend.

The event starts with a 4.8 mile swim in an icy lake. After this I cycle 224 miles through the Welsh Hills completing most of this during the night. After this there is a 52 mile run that starts with a climb up Snowdon. The whole event has a maximum time of 42 hours to complete with specific cutoffs for each section.
As a warm up for this event I am doing The Anglian Ironman event on 27th July 2013. This involves a 2.4 mile swim from West Runton to Cromer followed by a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile marathon.
I am doing these events to raise funds for Dogs Trust who do fantastic work in rehoming dogs.
