Story

We are fighting for sight and we will be a sight for sore eyes!

I am 72 years old and I have been living with the consequences of 'Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) for 18 years now.

On May 18th myself and a number of my friends will be challenging ourselves on the fastest zip wire in the world and the highest in Europe 'Velocity 2' in Snowdonia. We will going at hurtling speeds of 100 miles per hour and we are doing this to raise vital funds for Moorfields Eye Charity.

Moorfields are desperately trying to raise important funds to enable them to continue their vital research, which will enable them to identify the most urgent cases of blinding diseases and offer patients brand new treatments.

We appeal to everyone out there to sponsor us. Together, we will prevent the crippling effects of sight loss. We are fighting for sight!!
