Well,  WE DID IT!!! Thank you all for your support and generosity.

Augusta Morton, Akweley Morton, Janette Quaye and I joined forces with a whole host of other women at Midnight on 19th June for the St Luke's Hospice annual midnight walk. We arrived at Harrow Leisure Centre at around 11.15pm for registration. There were, what I can only describe as, ' a sea of women' in the main hall. It was amazing! Reading the messages on  T-shirts  just made me more determined to do this. One message said - 'For mum who died of cancer two weeks ago!.'

We met other friends - Anita and Brianna (old friends); Hiley from BACES!
Everything had been taken care off - warm-up exercises, water and fruits (in abundance), police, ambulance, volunteer marshalls etc - to ensure our safety.

St Luke, I salute you  - your organisation of the event was amazing. Well done.

It was hard going along the way but we did it and we have the photos to prove it!

Thank you to everyone who sponsored me. I think the final amount raised will be about £410.00  which will go towards helping St Luke’s Hospice care for local people with cancer and other terminal illnesses.

It is still not too late to sponsor me!
