Radio Marsden is an amazing local charity that is based out of the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton, and broadcasts to the patients of the hospital in Sutton and Chelsea.

I've been volunteering there for about 5 years now, and although I'm taking a short hiatus from presenting the Sunday night request show at the moment due to family reasons, it's a charity that still has a huge place in my heart.

For those that know of or know someone that has been treated at the Marsden you will understand what an amazing hospital it is - the care is groundbreaking and the staff are heroes - which goes a long way to help to make a horrible time in many families lives more bearable.

Radio Marsden provides a personalised service for the patients with request shows each evening and 24hr broadcast to their bedside units, and online for families wanting to feel connected back at home (which can be 100s miles away).

Donating to Radio Marsden helps to pay our licensing and charity fees to keep this much beloved station running for these patients and their families.
