Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2014 my lovely Grammi spent Christmas Day in the hospice and my Daddy did the Christmas Day dip but I was too little. As I am now ten, I am allowed to do it. Unfortunately a few weeks before Christmas I was in hospital and diagnosed with HSP which meant I wasn't allowed to the do the dip on Christmas Day. I still want to help the hospice and remember Grammi so am hoping I will be well enough to do it on Valentine's Day.

Ellie boldly went into the north sea on 14 February - and immediately got wiped out by a huge wave! Despite that she kept smiling and loved every minute. The support and response from the community has been awesome - thankyou so much for all your support.
Unfortunately, Ellie has recently been in the hospital and has been diagnosed with HSP. It's a rare condition which results in arthritic type pain in the joints. It's a temporary condition which lasts 4 - 6 weeks and she is doing really well - she remains very tired all the time and needs to take it easy. Because of this, her Christmas Dip has been delayed to 14 February - a date she has chosen to reflect her love of her Grammi. We will keep you all posted. Thank you very much for your support.

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.
