This year I will not only be supporting The Christie but my best friend Sian, who last year lost her beautiful Mum, Donna to cancer. The Christie supported Donna through out her battle and have continued to support the Morris family. 

If that wasn't a hard enough challenge Sian is now taking on the challenge of raising £15,000 in order to get a gold leaf with Donna's name on it and for it to be displayed in the gardens at The Christie in Manchester. 

So I will be doing my bit this year by taking part in a number of events, starting with a 10km Rough Runner assault course, climbing Snowdon and finally tackling Cholmondley's Tough Mudder assault course once again to help Sian smash that target and to get that gold leaf with Donna's name on to be hung pride of place.

You can help by simply making a donation (no assault courses required), big or small every donation will make a difference and help The Christie continue with their research and  the support they give to not only those suffering with cancer but to their loved ones going through a battle of their own.
