I am Ellie Rolfe and I will be 9 in February.  I have been thinking about what I will be wishing for on my birthday. 

Whilst I am so fortunate to have everything I could ask for and more, I am aware that many children wish only for the things that we take for granted every single day. 

There are some children who are very poorly and will sadly lose their hair whilst they are having treatment to get well from cancer and other illnesses.

I have wanted to cut my hair for a long time and found this wonderful charity who use donated hair to make wigs for children who have lost their own hair.  Each wig costs the charity approx £350, however by donating hair the Trust is able to obtain a large number of wigs for free. 

I am soooooo excited to be able to contribute in this way and hope that by doing so I will raise awareness and make a special child's wish come true.
